Love this location! They make a salad you can't find elsewhere (or at least not at the South San Francisco location) -- Chicken Katsu. The BEST Starbird salad, and better than any salad at Chick-fil-A. I happen to prefer their grilled chicken -- they make it SO good there -- and the flavors of the Katsu sauce and the dressing plus the edamame and other ingredients make for one helluva good salad.

This was a fantastic stop before my flight! The Nashville HotBird chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy, tender, and juicy, with just the right amount of heat for that bold Nashville flavor. The fresh toppings and soft bun tied it all together, making every bite satisfying. What made it even better was how convenient it was--being in the same terminal as my flight meant I didn't have to go out of my way for a great meal. It's the perfect spot to grab something flavorful and filling before traveling.

The excitement from the service gentleman was GREAT! He seems so excited about being at work, he answered all my questions with a smile and was so energetic for the entire 30 mins I sat at the charging stations. I even laughed listening to him engage with allll the customers during a rush! He's a keeper! I believe his name is Wyman.

First time trying this chain of chicken food. Chicken was great. Extra crispy like I prefer but still lots of good pieces of dark and white chicken meat. Sauces were nice. Fries tasty unlike other places. Wife had the grilled chicken Cobb salad, which she said was fantastic. Self service kiosks were a nice add and very easy to use. No one breathing over you and staring at you when you decide on tip or not.

I had a delightful dining experience at Starbird, located within the SFO airport. This fast food chicken spot exceeded all my expectations! I ordered a chicken sandwich and tenders, and let me tell you, they were simply outstanding. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was evident that my meal was made fresh, as it arrived warm, crispy, and incredibly delicious -- everything you'd want from fried chicken. Starbird at SFO airport genuinely surprised me with its quality and taste. If you find yourself at the airport craving some delicious chicken, I highly recommend stopping by Starbird for a satisfying and tasty meal. Kudos to the team for serving up such fantastic food!

My 1st time in this side of SFO since Alaska moved to T1. Wow, all the food choices. B Gate kept going AND going... After we scanned the food choices l, we went back to Starbird. Ordered the chicken nuggets at the self order kiosk bc that was quick and easy for the plane, and the safest choice since it was our 1st time here. Wow. Ngl, the nuggets were juicy and delicious esp dipped into their signature sauce (compared to the Greek Ranch, which was meh). I only had barely a whole nuggets to myself as DD ate the rest

Terminal 1 is really revolutionizing airport food with some tasty options. Their chicken sandwich is something I'd actually buy in a non-airport situation. Though, following in the footsteps of In-N-Out, their fries need a serious makeover. Starbird: Surprisingly good sandwich for airport food. The fried chicken breast was crunchy over every bit of the surface area, but tender meat inside. The buttery roll was nice and fluffy, a perfect contrast. I liked all the veggies, adding some texture and flavor contrast without making it overwhelming vegetable-forward. Sauce was good too. Fries: Sadly, this was a blight on an otherwise great meal. The fries were soggy and limp. Also, tasted too oily. It seemed they were made fresh, which is admirable, but more attention should be paid to making them crispy. Even fresh fries should be twice-fried for better texture. Strawberry Lemonade: Very refreshing. Tasted freshly made. The candy-like strawberry was a great pairing to the slightly tart lemonade. Way better than fountain soda.
